First Section of Surah Juma – Verses 1-5

You will see in Surah Juma PDF that one of the most important things that made Surah Juma more appealing and commendable is that it starts with the glorification and attributes of Allah.

Allah-The King.

The first few verses in surah Juma pdf state that Allah is the king of this beautiful universe, and everything in the heavens and on earth praise Allah. Allah has created everything purposefully and wisely, and He controls everything. He sent His Prophets among illiterate people for their guidance, who guided them and recited Allah’s revelations.

Indeed, Allah had done a favor to all the people by sending them His messengers to eliminate their ignorance and to call them on the way of Allah. Although these people followed the path that could lead them only to Jahanum, Allah escaped them.

Allah Grants Whoever He Wills.

All the power and glory belong to Allah, who can do anything that pleases Him. He is merciful, benevolent, and self-sufficient. He has the strength and diverse courage to grant anything to anyone He wants to provide. Just like everything, guidance is His gift; He bestows whoever He wills.

Allah Doesn’t Guide the Wrongdoings People.

In the 5th verse of the gleeful surah Juma, Allah shows His anger upon the people who pretend that they entrusted the Torah but don’t follow the commands of Allah that had been referred to in the Torah.

People who study these Holy books pretend they are the people of the book, but when it comes time to follow Allah’s guidelines, they start making excuses like donkeys with books on their backs. Allah said in Al Jumu ah, Allah guides those who wish to seek guidance, not to wrongdoing people.

Second Section of Surah Juma – Verse 6-11

In these verses of surah Juma, Allah addresses Jews and says that if you claim that you are on the right path and all other people are being led astray, then invoke Allah to bring death to the group who are misguided.

Allah responded that these people would never long for death because of their sins and disbelief. Allah knows every action of everyone, and no one can hide anything from Him. Allah challenged hypocritical people like this in surah Al Baqarh as well.

 Allah addressed Jews in Surah Al-Baqarah and challenged them like this:

Say: “If the home of the Hereafter with Allah is indeed for you specially and not for others, of mankind, then long for death if you are truthful.” But they will never long for it because of what their hands have sent forth before them. And Allah is Aware of the wrongdoers. And verily, you will find them the greediest of mankind for life and (even greedier) than those who ascribe partners to Allah. One wishes he could be given a life of a thousand years. But the grant of such life will not save him even a little from punishment. And Allah is Seer of what they do.Quran: 2:94-96

Death is Inevitable.

In surah Juma pdf, Allah warns Jews that they are trying to hide from death, but they wouldn’t be able to succeed in this as death is inevitable. Everyone has to taste death. And, on a specific which Allah decides, they must return to Him.

Allah is the one who knows everything that has happened or is going to happen so that no one can hide anything from Him. On the day of judgment, Allah will hand over all human being their action lists. Even if a person has forgotten his actions, Allah knows and never forgets anything.

Establish Friday Prayer.

The day of Friday is very significant and holds a special place among other weekdays near Allah. In the Surah Juma pdf, Allah emphasizes that all Muslims prepare for Friday and establish the Juma prayer. It is ordered to leave all the businesses and get to gather at the mosque for the Juma prayer on Friday. Allah grants high rewards to those who establish Friday prayer.

Abu Huraira narrates that Prophet Holy Prophet Muhammad PBUH said:

I heard Allah’s Messenger (ﷺ) (p.b.u.h) saying, “We (Muslims) are the last (to come) but (will be) the foremost on the Day of Resurrection though the former nations were given the Holy Scriptures before us. And this was their day (Friday), the celebration of which was made compulsory for them, but they differed about it. So Allah gave us the guidance for it (Friday), and all the other people are behind us in this respect: the Jews’ (holy day is) tomorrow (i.e., Saturday) and the Christians’ (is) the day after tomorrow (i.e., Sunday).”Sahih Al Bukhari 876, Book 11, Hadith 1

Remember Allah Often so that You may be Successful.

Surah Juma pdf states that once the prayer of Juma is over, return to your businesses and work hard; Allah will bless you with prosperity and happiness. In surah Juma, Allah calls His humankind towards Himself and says don’t be ignorant of my remembrance, and I will give you success in every field of life.

Importance of Friday Prayer

Allah has ordered in surah Juma to leave all the businesses, go to mosques, and establish prayer on Friday. Numerous hadiths reveal the importance of Friday and prayer of Friday. It is commendable to take a bath, apply perfume and brush your teeth on Friday to get ready for the prayer of Friday.

our beloved Prophet Muhammad (PBUH):

“There is an hour on Friday, and if a Muslim gets it while offering Salat and asks something from Allah Almighty, then Allah will fulfill his demands, and Prophet Muhammad (SAW) pointed out the shortness of that particular time with his hands.”Sahih Al Bukhari

Allah Almighty says in the Holy Quran:

 “O you who believe! When the call is proclaimed for Jumah (Friday prayer), come fast to the remembrance of Allah”Quran, 62: 9

Surah Juma is a blissful surah of the Holy Quran and provides numerous benefits to its reciter. It is recommended to recite surah Juma frequently to end hatred between couples, for a successful business, for protection from evil, and to seek forgiveness from Allah for sins. If a person recites surah Juma frequently, then he could be able to get close to Allah.

Surah Juma PDF is a Madinan surah of the Holy Quran consisting of 11 verses and two rukus. It teaches us many fundamental lessons and facts about life. It opens up with the glorification of Allah and teaches us that Allah knows every seen and unseen thing.

The day of Friday has specific importance near Allah, and He emphasizes establishing Friday prayer. A person who offers Friday prayer gets an immense reward from Allah, as Allah loves those who follow His commands and only worship Him. Death is inevitable, and every living thing will taste it.
